Drew Lock has been one of the disappointments among the starting quarterbacks, having only played 6 games last year due to injuries. While there is a decent group in Denver with Lock and Bridgewater, none are able to stay healthy and consistent. With the QB free agency projected to be one of the best in the last few years, I think the Broncos will be looking elsewhere for their quarterback for the 2022-2023 season. While I think they need to find their franchise quarterback for years to come, I think they should attempt to bring Rodgers out of Green Bay which is probably more tempting with Denver hiring former Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett as their Head Coach last week. And with Jerry Jeudy, Javonte Williams, Melvin Gordon among others this would be the most applicable quarterback for the Broncos.

It seems like Daniel Jones, while being one of the underrated quarterbacks in the league is not the answer for the New York Giants for right now. After a few disappointing seasons while noting he hasn’t been stepping up and has been having a decline in passing yards as the years go on. I think they should bring in a veteran quarterback to help mentor Jones, like when Brady had Bledsoe, or when Lamar had Flacco for a few seasons. While there is some good veteran quarterbacks, I think the best choice is Ryan Fitzpatrick. While Fitzpatrick is the eldest quarterback in the league with Brady retiring, he has been on multiple teams with different offense playbooks and can help Jones become the quarterback New York needs him to be and mold him into being at least as close to an elite quarterback that Jones can possibly be.

Steelers legend and arguably the greatest Steelers quarterback of all time, Ben Roethlisberger announced his retirement before the regular season ended this year. While most will argue that it will be an interesting QB battle in the off-season and upcoming preseason between Mason Rudolph and Dwayne Haskins, I personally believe that with the receiving core and the emergence of upcoming sophomore Najee Harris, the Steelers should look to trade either Rudolph or Haskins for a quarterback looking to win now. But it seems like as long as the Steelers keep TJ Watt on defense and Mike Tomlin as their head coach, they should be in good hands no matter who is the QB.

The Atlanta Falcons have been constantly in the middle of the pack since their appearance in Super Bowl 51 against the Patriots, have been fluctuating in the middle of the league to close to the bottom of the league but are showing signs of improvement. And I think they have been slowly upgrading their offense to be close to a top 10 maybe top 15 in the league with additions of Cordell Patterson, Kyle Pitts among others while not reeling from losing franchise WR Julio Jones in a trade last offseason to the Titans. The only thing that hasn’t changed is the quarterback, Matt Ryan. While Ryan has not done terribly for his team in the last few years. Constantly having 4,000 passing yards seasons since 2011 with the only one being this year with 3,900+ passing yards. While I don’t think they should get rid of Ryan, I think they should be in the market to bring in a young quarterback to be mentored by Ryan and offensive coordinator Dave Ragone, whether that be in the 2022 NFL Draft, or free agency.

Well, what can be said about the Jets that hasn’t already been said. Zach Wilson is showing that he is the bust out of the 2021 draft class of quarterbacks. With either terrible throws that should’ve never been attempted or the fact that Wilson was out after the week 7 game against the Patriots. (Suffered a sprained PCL.) the Jets have shown to have a bottom-of-the-league offense with having as many interceptions as passing touchdowns. (20 total for each and under 5200 yards of total offense ranked 26th and allowing 6,000 yards of total offense, worst in the league) While I think Zach Wilson should get a few more years at the starting quarterback spot, it wouldn’t hurt to bring in a veteran to give Wilson a different look at the defense and ways to trick them and get an advantage over various defenses.
