INDIANA FEVER LOOK TO GET BACK TO WINNING WAYS

The Indiana Fever made their debut in the WNBA in 2000 when Indiana was granted one of 2 expansion teams.  Since 2000 the Fever has enjoyed a lot of success.  The Fever have qualified for the playoffs 13 of the 21 years they have been in the WNBA, making it to 2 finals and winning the WNBA
Championship in 2012.

After winning the WNBA Championship in 2012 the fever has seen limited success; they have not qualified for the playoffs since 2016.  Won only 6 games each of the last 2 seasons and have a total of 25 combined wins over the last 3 seasons.

After a preseason in which the Fever went 1-1 there is optimism that the Fever are going to have a solid year this year. They had a good draft and their rookies made an impact in the preseason.  The Fever averaged 10pts more in the preseason this year than they did last regular season. The Fever defense has looked much improved in preseason as well. Rookies NaLyssa Smith, Emily Engstler, and Queen Egbo have made their presence known on both side of the ball.

Keep your eye on the Indiana Fever this year as they kick off the regular season on May 6th at the Washington Mystics and look to get back to their winning ways with a lineup with a mixture of vets and youth looking to get the Indiana Fever back to the top
of the WNBA.
