The Miami Dolphins’ 2nd day of training camp ended abruptly Thursday afternoon as practice came to a halt.
Cornerback Jalen Ramsey was carted off the field after defending Tyreke Hill on a pass play. Concerns about Ramsey’s health were echoed throughout the locker room, “Everybody’s worried about him,” safety Jevon Holland told reporters Thursday.
Jalen Ramsey is set to undergo knee surgery, after sustaining a meniscus injury and will have to miss six to eight weeks.
Doctors will also reportedly have to decide whether to remove Ramsey’s meniscus or repair it, with an even longer recovery still possible according to Tom Pelissero.
This is not something Miami wanted to hear after signing Jalen this off-season for 3 years $55 million.
