THREE POTENTIAL LANDING SPOTS FOR AARON RODGERS IF HE LEAVES THE PACKERS

Since 2005, Aaron Rodgers has been the answer for the Green Bay Packers, with sitting on the bench for his first few years learning everything he can under whom is considered one of the greatest of all time in Brett Farve, and staying consistent with multiple NFC North titles. Bringing one Super Bowl win for the Packers but always being in contention for it showed that Rodgers will always be one of the hardest quarterbacks to plan for along with Brady and Mahomes. Now that his contract expiring and rumors have been spreading that he could leave the Green and Yellow, the Hail Mary specialist could be a part of a new team even though he has gone on record saying he doesn’t want to be a part of a rebuild at 38 years old. So now I take a look at 3 teams that should look to sign him in the off-season.

Denver Broncos

Aaron Rodgers and the Denver Broncos have been linked to each other since the start of the off season last year. With the disappointing duo of Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater, they have not been the answer for Denver but is it time for them to look at Rodgers as a mentor for a possible future draft pick for them at quarterback? With newly hired head Coach Nathaniel Hackett it should be very possible. Hackett was the Packers offensive coordinator last year so already has the chemistry with Rodgers and that give him motivation to sign with Denver. If they do look for them to be competing early with the Chiefs and Chargers for the AFC West title.

Chances at signing Aaron Rodgers: 55%

New York Giants:

This is a team that I believe Rodgers while not entirely having a problem going to just more if they can get more weapons on the Giants offense to help him out and to also come in and help out quarterback Daniel Jones and mentor him like Beldose did Brady. who has not been productive since entering the league in 2019. While missing over 6 games this season he barley racked up over 2,000 yards for the season which is one of the lowest starting quarterbacks with a minimum of 10 games played. And the rest of the Giants have not performed but with new hire for Head Coach Brian Daboll coming in, i think that t this will be the best decision for Rodgers in a start now and make a big statement kind of way.

Chances to sign Rodgers: 42%

Pittsburgh Steelers

Like with the Giants, i think that the Steelers is an excellent landing spot for Rodgers who is looking to win now. But unlike the other two teams, the Steelers have the most complete team on the list other than one hole in their offense, and that’s at the quarterback position with Ben Roethlisberger retiring. Now with the main focus being either Mason Rudolph or Dwayne Haskins being the starter it should be Rodgers to mentor both of them for when Aaron retires. They can learn all they can and translate that into being one of the best quarterbacks in just a few years. With Najee Harris and TJ Watt and consistent elite defense, Mike Tomlin shouldn’t have a problem with his record of not having a losing record in Pittsburgh if they get Aaron Rodgers.
