Alvin Kamara has been one of the top running backs in the league since he was taken in the 3rd round of the 2017 NFL Draft. His career numbers have been 912 rushes, 4,238 rushing yards, and 47 rushing touchdowns averaging 4.7 yards per game. The running back dealt with an injury issue last year that made him miss the most games he’s missed in his career. As an elite receiving back, he can use his dual threat to the best of his abilities. He could improve on his blocking ability when he is not involved with the play. To bring an extra piece of protection to Jameis Winston to bring more opportunities to score is vital to them. He averages 4.7 yards per run and 8.3 yards per catch and will be a top 10 pick in fantasy football leagues to be vital to a PPR league. And with Michael Thomas coming back and them taking Chris Olave out of Ohio State in this year’s draft, Kamara could see a boost in his productivity due to more chances of being open for a pass or a run option. But we’ll see if he’ll be the number one option in New Orleans.
